PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a touch feel approximate to the touch feel of a pedal device of a live piano with lightweight and simple constitution. SOLUTION: A leaf spring 13 is so disposed at the base body of an electronic musical instrument that its one end is fixed and its other end is a free end. This leaf spring 13 is provided with a weight. A pedal 4 is stepped down by a player. An operating member fixes the one end of the leaf spring 13 for elastically deforming the free end of the leaf spring 13 cooperatively with the pedal and transmitting the reaction thereof to the pedal side and forms the other end as a freely movable free end. Since this free end side is adapted to be driven by the manipulation of the pedal 4, the reaction is generated by both of the leaf spring 13 and the weight. Since the oscillation range of the leaf spring 13 is short, the reaction generated by the leaf spring itself is nearly constant and the touch feel of the pedal 4 is not of a type dependent upon positions but is of a type dependent upon the speed affected by the weight. Then, when the stepping on speed is fast, a player feels the pedal manipulation heavy and if the stepping on speed is slow, the player feels the manipulation light.
