PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for precisely checking the speech path of an elevator. SOLUTION: A character code 33 for checking a voice for checking stored in a storage part 5 is converted into a voice signal, by a voice recognizing device 7 of a terminal 2 and outputted to a loudspeaker 17 in a car 1. The loudspeaker 17 emits the voice for checking to the car 1. The voice for checking is captured by a microphone 11a of a speech device 11 and recorded in a recording and reproducing device 14 of a monitor center 3. The recorded voice for checking is reproduced and emitted to the car 1 by a loudspeaker 11b of the speech device 11. The voice is captured by a microphone 16 in the car 1, and inputted to a voice recognizing device 7. The voice recognizing device 7 converts the voice inputted from the microphone 16 into a character code for comparison and stores it in a storage part 5. A comparing part 18 compares the character code for checking stored in the storing part 5 with a character code for comparison and judges the quality of the operating state of the speech path.
