PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update a specification of a program relating to display control of an image display section prior to the display control by allowing a terminal section to request the image display section about downloading of the program when discriminating the necessity of downloading the program, to download the program and allowing the image display section to store the downloaded program to its own corresponding program memory. SOLUTION: The terminal section 2 requests the image display section 1 to transmit a program ID command denoting a version of a program at application of power, analyzes the program ID sent therefrom, and compares the ID with a program ID stored in a program memory of the terminal section. When the version of the received ID differs from the program ID stored in the terminal section 2, the terminal section 2 discriminates the necessity of downloading, and transmits a program download request to the image display section 1. When the permission of the downloading is returned, the terminal section 2 downloads the program in the amount that can be transmitted for the succeeding timing.
