OPTICAL FILTER AND LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light source device capable of outputting light having a stable wavelength characteristic without depending on a temperature change. SOLUTION: The light source device 10 is constituted to have a light source section 12 and an optical filter 14. The optical filter 14 consists of a double structure having an inner container 22 consisting of a cylindrical part 24 and glass surface plates 26 and 28 and an outer container 23 consisting of an outer cylindrical part 34 and a surface plate 36. An inner space A formed within the inner container 22 is filled with water 40 and an outer space B formed on the outside of the inner container 22 and within the outer container 23 is filled with the water 40 and air 42. Two communicating holes 44 and 46 communicating the inner space A and the outer space B are formed on the side wall surface of the cylindrical part 24.
