The compressor has a fixed and a rotating spiral part (11,12), located within a housing (20) to define a compression pocket (15), for the compression of a coolant gas. The fixed spiral part has an opening section (18) in a position corresponding to an intermediate compression stage position of the pocket. A mechanism feeds intermediate compressed gas from the pocket via the opening section. The mechanism has a gas outlet path (19) formed in the housing so as to be in connection with the opening section.
