PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transferability to an image support and to maintain high image quality over a long period of time. SOLUTION: At least resin particles and colorant particles are salted out and fused to obtain the objective toner. The resin particles are obtained by adding a polymerizable monomer to an aqueous solution containing a dissolved polymerization initiator at an average addition rate of 0.1-5.0 wt.% of the entire polymerizable monomer per 1 min and polymerizing the monomer.
