PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a large-quantity frame memory and a block scanning circuit required for raster scan by outputting a signal reduced in reset noise in each pixel sensor and corresponding to the absolute value of a photodetective quantity in the order of block scan. SOLUTION: The gate PDG of a transistor for resetting a photodiode PD is supplied with a photodiode reset signal PDR by a pair of path transistor T1 and T2 only when a pixel sensor selecting signal X supplied from a row decoder is active 'H'. When the signal X is inactive 'L', the transistor gate PDG for resetting the photodiode PD becomes 'L', the pixel is not reset. Though, even when the pixel sensor is in a row where the signal X is active, the pixel sensor of a not-selected row block is not reset.
