摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of an electrolyte to improve the photoelectric converting characteristic and durability of an element and a battery by including a polymer compound obtained by polymerizing an acrylate monomer containing two kinds of compounds. SOLUTION: This electrolyte contains a cross-linked polymer obtained by radically polymerizing an acrylate monomer represented by formula I and containing a cyclic ureide group with a bifunctional or more acrylate monomer represented by formula II. This electrolyte has satisfactory photoelectric converting characteristic, and is less deteriorated with the lapse of time. This photoelectric converting element is provided with a charge moving layer containing this electrolyte, a conductive support having a fine particle semiconductor-containing layer sensitized with a metal complex or a pigment such as polymethine, and a counter electrode. In formulae I and II, R1, R4, R5 are each hydrogen or an alkyl group; R2 and R3 are each hydrogen or an alkyl group or aryl group, wherein each of the above groups may contain a substituent, and R2 and R3 may form a ring; L1 and L2 are each a divalent connecting group; L3 is a z-valent connecting group wherein z is an integer of 2-6; X is -COO- or -CONR6-, wherein R6 is hydrogen or an alkyl group.
