PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching circuit and a switching method to reduce the switching loss. SOLUTION: This switching circuit is provided with transistors(TRs) Q1, Q2 that repeat turning-on and turning-off, 1st capacitors C2, C3 placed in parallel with the output side of the TRs and charged by a current whose flowing is blocked by the turn-off of the TRs, switches S1, S2 that are switched synchronously with the turn-on and turn-off of the TRs, a 2nd capacitor C4 connected in series with the 1st capacitor to discharge charged stored in the 1st capacitor when the switches are closed so that a charging circuit 21 that charges the 2nd capacitor in a polarity at which the charges stored in the 1st capacitor are discharged, while the switches are open.
