PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure cost reduction and miniaturization of a cooling unit. SOLUTION: A food refrigerator is adapted such that there is provided a cooling circuit where there are connected a compressor 13, cooling units 3a, 3b including a condenser 15, and coolers 7a, 7b for cooling air in the chamber through a piping 5, and such that air fans 11a, 11b, 11c for the coolers disposed in an air passage of the coolers 7a, 7b are operated upon operation of the cooling units 3a, 3b to circulate cold air heat exchanged with the condensers and hence cool foods in a refrigeration temperature region. A plurality of cooling circuits are provided for one food refrigerator 11, and all of the plurality of the cooling units 3a, 3b are operated upon insertion of foods into the chamber 9 and the coolers air fans 11a, 11b, 11c are operated with high performance. After detected temperature of a food temperature sensor 33 reaches a set temperature, part of the cooling units 3a is interrupted and a remaining cooling unit 3b is operated to reduce the capability of the coolers air fans 11aq, 11b, 11c. |
