The spray gun has a nozzle pipe (13) which can be moved telescopically between a long position and short position. The pressure in the nozzle pipe can be reduced by suitable means so that medium flowing into the gun only emerges with full pressure in the extended long position of the pipe and emerges with reduced pressure in other positions. The nozzle pipe has two intersliding sections (17, 18) which are tight in the long position to let the medium flow only in the longitudinal direction through certain narrow cross-sections whilst releasing pressure reducing openings in positions which deviate therefrom.
