摘要 The spinning rotor for an open-end spinner has a rotor plate (2) where the wall thickness of the rotor base (8) increases from the rotor fiber collection groove (9) towards the collar (4). The wall thickness at the largest outer diameter. of the rotor plate (2) is 0.3-1.2 mm. The wall thickness of the rotor plate (2) between the open side (5) and the fiber collection groove (9) is structured so that the outer contour of the rotor plate (2) is shaped for a smooth flow without break-up edges, and the inner contour at the wall section (11) is set to meet the spinning process and gives the required textile technology conditions. The wall thickness is pref. 0.75-0.85 mm at the largest outer diameter of the rotor plate (2). The angle ( alpha ) of the outer contour from the rotary axis of the rotor plate (2) starts at the open side (5) with a change along only one direction until the outer contour transits from the rotor base (8) into the collar (4). The wall thickness increases steadily from the open side (5) to the fiber collection groove (9). The outer contour is a straight line over the outer edge of the wall section (11) and, from the open side (5), moves into a curve at the largest outer diameter. The inner and outer contours of the rotor plate (2) are structured between the open side (5) and the fiber collection groove (9) to give a mass distribution with an optimum tension under operating conditions. The ratio between the diameter of the open side (5) and the depth (13) is between 2:1 and 5:1, where the depth (13) is from the height of the fiber collection groove (9) to the open side (5). The fiber collection groove (9), has a radius (12) at the groove base of at least 0.15 mm. The outer surface of the rotor plate (2) has at least one marking, and pref. an image mark (15) or lettering (16), formed by etching or a laser cutting action. The material removal during the image/lettering marking is calculated to balance the rotor (1).
