PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a retrieval condition for every data base even when the retrieval result of one of a plurality of data bases is obtained by a different technique and to dynamically retrieve every data base without designating a new retrieval condition. SOLUTION: When the retrieval result obtained from a map DB(data base) 19 is moved by a user, a cooperative retrieval part 1 asks a retrieval condition generation part 15 to generate a retrieval condition. The part 15 generates a retrieval condition from the retrieval result moved by the user using the definition that is stored in a retrieval condition defining part 17. Then information is retrieved from a store information DB 21 by a DB retrieval part 13 according to the generated retrieval condition, and the retrieval result of the DB 21 is returned to an application via a cooperative retrieval control part 11.
