PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain power efficiency suitable for battery operation on a small scale and at a low cost by providing a timing signal generating circuit, a boosting chopper circuit, and a regulator circuit controlled by a control signal generated by the boosting chopper circuit. SOLUTION: A PWM control type power supply control IC unit UI inputs the voltage obtained by dividing output voltage Vout, is divided into a comparator to step up/down the voltage of a capacitor Co according to differential voltage from reference voltage Vref, and changes the duty ratio of a PWM pulse. A boosting chopper circuit 1 inputs the PWM pulse signal into the base of a transistor Q1 for boosting operation. A pulse control type regulator circuit 2 controls a transistor Q2 with a control signal generated by the boosting chopper circuit 1, regulates boosting voltage obtained from the boosting chopper circuit 1 and outputs it to a load Ro.
