PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a stable image display device with a long life and a high quality capable of preventing an oxidation of a wiring at a sealing step and a member constituting a display device such as an electron emitting part and a reduction of an adsorbing characteristic of a non-evaporation getter material. SOLUTION: Prior to a sealing step that a plurality of members constituting an enclosure provided with a non-evaporation getter is heated and adhered by a heat molten adhesive, a step c is provided that the heat molten adhesive is previously coated on respective adhesive surfaces of a front substrate, a back substrate and an outer frame constituting the enclosure and it is temporarily baked. Thereafter, a tep d is provided that it is heated while an inert gas is flowed to the inside of the enclosure at a predetermined flow rate and the front substrate and the back substrate are sealed at a predetermined space through the outer frame.
