PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration and the like at the lower dead center of mounting of a part holding portion and thus erroneous mounting of parts by shortening the mounting stroke of a suction nozzle and further bringing a board close to the suction nozzle when parts are mounted on the board. SOLUTION: An elevating portion 11 as an elevating means for moving up and down a printed board 4 in the direction coming close to and departing from a suction nozzle is installed on the underside of a board mounting table 2 in a part mounting position so that the board mounting table 2 can be moved up and down according to the height of electronic components 1 to be mounted. With this constitution, electronic components 1 can be properly mounted on a printed board 4 by moving the part mounting table 2 toward or away from the suction nozzle according to the height of the electronic components 1 loaded, even if the stroke of the suction nozzle is reduced. As a result, erroneous mounting is prevented and yields are improved. |
