PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drive an auxiliary display plate and fix it at an erected position and a laid position by a simple and strong structure. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display device main body where a display part for road information display is provided on the front surface, the auxiliary display plate 110 freely rotatably attached to the display device main body and an auxiliary display plate driving mechanism 12 for rotating the auxiliary display plate 110 between the erected position and the laid position with respect to an attaching surface. The auxiliary display plate driving mechanism 12 is provided with a nut part 24 attached to the auxiliary display plate 110 freely rotatably around a first axis C parallel to the rotary shaft 16 of the auxiliary display plate 110 and provided with a female screw hole in a direction orthogonal to the first axis C, a screw rod 22 for which one end side is supported freely swingably within a plane where the female screw hole moves attending on the rotation of the auxiliary display plate 110, the other end side is supported freely rotatably around an axis and the nut part 24 is screwed onto one end side projected from the display device main body and an electric motor 32 for rotating the other end side of the screw rod 22. |
