PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structure a compact customized dictionary for machine translation which is suitable to a specific use field or specific user by providing a means or the like for structuring the customized dictionary for machine translation wherein information regarding words of low appearance frequency is removed from the contents or the like of a master dictionary. SOLUTION: Translation object document groups 100 which are used for a specific use field or by a specific user are prepared and an English sentence (sentence to be translated) described in the prepared translation object document groups 100 is inputted. A morpheme analysis part 3 takes a morpheme analysis of the inputted translation object sentence by using a master dictionary 2 for machine translation. Consequently, the words constituting the translation object sentence are extracted. A word frequency analysis part 4 calculates appearance frequencies by the extracted words. Further, a dictionary structuring part 5 structures a customized dictionary 6 for machine translation wherein information regarding words of low appearance frequency is removed from the contents of the master dictionary 2 for machine translation. |
