PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively support an operator to prepare a document even when the operation prepares a new routine document. SOLUTION: This routine document preparation supporting device is provided with a routine document format information storage device 2 for storing at least format information concerning the character type of document data, the number of respective character types to be assigned and the arrangement order of respective character types concerning the size/arrangement information of single or plural description frames defining the appearance of a routine document and the document data defining the conductions of descriptions to be described in the respective description frames for supporting the preparation of the prescribed routine document and a data processor 3 for performing editing processing to the contents of the routine document and the data processor 3 reads the said format information out of the routine document format information storage device 2 when the operator prepares the new routine document, displays the said read format information on an output device such as display in a prescribed guidance format and supports the document preparation of the operator. |
