PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a speech auxiliary device for speech system for compensating for the deterioration of message transmitting performance caused by the deterioration of communication quality in telephone communication. SOLUTION: The deterioration of the quality of real-time speech between terminals 11A and 11B through an UDP port is determined, based on the number of times of packet collision in the Internet 14 detected by a gateway 13A. A request for the input of a message to the called terminal is reproduced to a terminal 11A connected with a telephone network 12A, and the inputted message is preserved in the gateway 13A in which the deterioration of the speech quality is determined, and transmitted through the TCP port of the Internet 14 to a gateway 13B in a non-real time. At the same time, a TCP interrupt packet is transmitted to the gateway 13B, so that a message from a terminal 11B can be preserved in the gateway 13B, and transmitted to the gateway 13A in a non-real time. Then, the message is reproduced to each corresponding terminal 11A and 11B in each gateway 13A and 13B.
