<p>The present invention relates to a tool coupling comprising a holder (1), an adapter (3; 3') for at least one cutting insert for chip removing machining and a separate element (5; 5') in order to detachably connect the holder (1) and the adapter (3; 3') with each other, said holder (1) being provided with a first serration (12), having mutually parallel grooves, and the adapter (3; 3') being provided with a second serration (16), having mutually parallel grooves. The invention also relates to the holder (1) and the adapter (3; 3') per se. It is significant for the tool coupling according to the present invention that the first serration (12) is located in a plane having an extension essentially perpendicular to a longitudinal centre axis (13) of the tool coupling, and that the second serration (16) is located in a plane having an extension essentially perpendicular to said longitudinal centre axis (13).</p> |
