GAS SENSOR

There is provided a gas sensor comprising a pair of electrodes in electrical contact with a gas sensitive film comprising a mixture of particles of tin oxide and zinc oxide. The weight ratio of tin oxide particles to zinc oxide particles in the film is in the range of from 4:1 to 1:4 and substantially all of the particles of the film have a diameter smaller than 2 mu m.
