PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple optical fiber line number confirming device simply and precisely confirming the coincidence of an input arrangement order with an output arrangement order of a multiple optical fiber and the measurement of a transmission loss in a short time. SOLUTION: An optical signal is outputted from a multi-output light source part 1 having plural output terminals in the input arrangement order of the multiple optical fiber 2, and the optical output of the multiple optical fiber 2 is branched to an integrated type photodetector 4 and an optical sensor 6 by an optical branching device 3, and the photodetector at which light arrives of the integrated type photodetector 4 converts the light to an electric signal, and the coincidence of the input arrangement order with the output arrangement order is confirmed by an operation processing circuit 5 from the position of the photodetector at which the light arrives. Then, the transmission loss of the light inputted to the optical sensor 6 is measured by an optical power measurement circuit 7.
