PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of improving safety by detecting the disappearance of information stored in a memory as time passes, i.e., the occurrence of the so-called bit omission and preventing the runaway of a microcomputer. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a nonvolatile rewritable memory 21 and a microcomputer M controlling operation on the basis of control information for operation stored in the memory 21. In the controller, the memory 21 stores discrimination processing information for executing control information discrimination processing that discriminates whether the control information for operation stored in the memory 21 is normal or abnormal, and the microcomputer M executes the control information discrimination processing on the basis of the discrimination processing information stored in the memory 21. |
