PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a signature data to be added to an electronic mail by selecting the data optimally and correctly in accordance with its use or purpose. SOLUTION: This electronic mail preparing device is provided with a signature data storage means 3 of storing plural kinds of signature data to be added to the mail which are prepared in contents suited to purpose, a mail address storage means 3 for storing the destination of electronic mail corresponding to specified one of plural kinds of signature data as mentioned above and a processing means 1 for selecting one kind of data out of plural kind of signature data stored in the said signature data storage means corresponding to the transmission destination address of electronic mail when preparing the mail, and adding these data to the text of the mail.
