Compounds are described of the general formula I CH2=CR<1>-CO-NH-CH(O-CO-R<3>)-CO-O-R<2> wherein R<1> is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R<2> and R<3>, independently of one another, are each a C1-C4 alkyl residue. Moreover, methods of producing these compounds as well as polymers and crosslinking mixtures thereof, containing the repeating units of the above-mentioned compounds, are described.
