SOLUTION: This color image forming device for correcting the inclination of an image by shifting image data is provided with an image data accumulation means 21 for accumulating image data of plural lines, a shift flag accumulation means 22 for accumulating a shift flag showing the position of an image element shifting image data, a correction pattern generation means 23 for generating a correction pattern by information on a noticed image element and peripheral image elements and the shift flag and a smoothing processing means 24 for executing the smoothing processing of a step generated by the inclination correction of an image on image data based on the correction pattern and the shift flag.
