Connection between lining and basic body of roller press has face chucks with groove slots on end sides, and threaded bolts and annular gap

The lining (1) is detachably joined to the basic body of the rollers (2) by means of one or more face chucks (3). The end sides of the face chucks and of the lining each have groove slots round them engaging with each other. The face chucks are pre-tensioned towards the roller basic bodies and lining by means of threaded bolts (4). An annular gap (6) between the lining and the basic body is left for cooling, and is connected to radial holes (5) in the basic body.
