PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten refrigerant recovering time by providing a service port for refrigerant recovery to refrigerant piping between an outdoor heat exchanger and a depressurizer. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 1 and an indoor unit 2 are connected by connecting piping 3, 5. The outdoor unit 1 has a gas close valve 6 connected to the connecting piping 5 and a liquid close valve 7 connected to the connecting piping 3, while the gas close valve 6 comprising a service port 8. In recovering refrigerant, a given recovery piping is connected to the service port 8 possessed by the gas close valve 6 to recover the refrigerant from the recovery piping. The refrigerant existing in a circuit from the gas close valve 6 to a compressor 12 and the refrigerant existing in a circuit from the gas close valve 6 to this side of a motor-operated expansion valve 18 through an indoor heat exchanger 25, can be recovered from the service port 8 with comparatively small recovery resistance. Further, another service port 22 is provided between an outdoor heat exchanger 15 and the motor-operated expansion valve 18.
