PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display system which can fix frame width even for an image in raster format when it is enlarged or reduced. SOLUTION: The system is equipped with a display device and a computer which generates its operation data; when the operation data include image data, the computer reads in source image data from a file containing the source image data, and deforms or expands or reduces the data at need to generate image data and the display device stores the generated operation data and performs display operation according to the stored operation data. The computer is equipped with enlarging/reducing means (S4 to S12) which enlarges or reduces the image while fixing the frame width of the frame elements of the image which the image needs to be enlarged or reduced for its generation and a transmitting means (S14) which transmits the image data enlarged or reduced by the means (S4 to S12) to the display means.
