摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the heat resisting temperature of the part suffering an arc damage and prevent the softening of a base material to improve the reliability by composing a high melting point material with a high conductivity material to constitute an arc resistant coating and differing the composition ratio of the high melting point material to the high conductivity material between the surface side distant from the base material and the inner part side close to the base material. SOLUTION: This arc resistant coating 2 is formed on a base material 1 consisting of Cu by flame coating or vacuum flame coating in the atmosphere. The arc resistant coating 2 is constituted by composing a high melting point material with a high conductivity material, and laminating four layers in total of a first layer 2a-a fourth layer 2d differed in the composition ratio of the two materials. The thickness of the arc resistant coating 2 is set to about 0.05 mm-5 mm from the viewpoint of cost effectiveness. The part causing an arc damage is covered with a film obtained by composing the high melting point metal with the high conductivity material in a fixed ratio, whereby the heat resisting temperature of the part suffering the arc damage can be increased, and the reliability of electric equipment can be also improved without reducing the hardness of the base material.
