PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector protecting cover which can prevent pin deformation after mounting and which allows a pin connector to miniaturize. SOLUTION: A projection 62 of a pin connector is engaged with an engaging groove 31, with pins 63, 64 directed toward a pin guide 50. The projection 62 is plunged along the engaging groove 31 until the projection 62 gets over a supporting projection 33, and the projection 62 is engaged with the supporting projection 33, and thus the pin connector is held by a connector protecting cover 1. When mounting the pin connector on a circuit board 90, the pin connector is placed on the circuit board 90 together with the connector protecting cover 1. After soldering the pin connector with its fixing pad 66, the rest of components are mounted. Then, just before fixing the circuit board 90 into equipment, the connector protecting cover 1 is removed from the pin connector.
