PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-saving processing system which does not decrease the contrast of displayed contents even when the back light luminance of a color liquid crystal display is lowered as a power-saving process in an information processor equipped with the color liquid crystal display and a battery driving part. SOLUTION: The system comprises a power-saving control part 103 which varies the luminance and color palette of the back light of the color liquid crystal display, a luminance setting part 106 which sets the luminance, a palette setting part 107 which sets the color palette, and a color palette data table (storage part 104) which can make a proper color contrast display for different back light luminance values. The power-saving control part 103 decreases the luminance of the back light of the color liquid crystal display when remaining battery capacity decreases to below a certain value and the palette setting part 107 sets the table of the color palette data for displaying the display contents with the maximum contrast according to the luminance, thereby preventing the contrast of the display contents from decreasing.
