A casket has a base, a pair of first side plates detachably seated on opposite sides of the base, a pair of second side plates detachable connected with the first side plates and the base, a pair of bars detachably mounted onto the respective second side plate and a cover detachably connected with the pair of bars. With the arrangement, the cover is able to pivot with respect to the pair of bars and the entire casket is able to be disassembled for transportation or storage. <IMAGE>
