PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an ink jet recording paper of superior ink absorbability, coloring properties, image light-fastness and image water resistance and also of proper glossy feeling. SOLUTION: An intermediate layer and a fixing layer are formed successively on a substrate of ink acceptive properties of a recording paper. The intermediate layer is a layer composed of an anionic collidal silica and zinc oxide fine particles of 15-380 nm average particle diameter as main components, and the fixing layer is a layer composed of cationic colloidal silica and a cationic polymer electrolyte as main components. |
