PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the excessive inflow of a refrigerant to a compressor at start of heating operation, in a freezer which executes the pump down operation to collect a refrigerant in an outdoor unit at stoppage of operation of the compressor. SOLUTION: The line between the solenoid valve 31 on liquid side and the solenoid valve 32 on gas side of an outdoor unit 1 is charged with a refrigerant at stoppage of operation of a compressor 4. The circulation of the refrigerant from an outdoor heat exchanger 6 to a compressor 4 is controlled by controlling the solenoid valve 32 on gas side to open and close during the specified time from the start of heating operation. Hereby, since it is so arranged as to recover the refrigerant in the outdoor unit before stoppage of operation of the compressor 4, this freezer can prevent the leakage of a refrigerant inside a room, while since it is so arranged as to suppress the flow of the refrigerant to the compressor at start of heating operation, the excessive inflow of the refrigerant to the compressor is prevented, and the reliability on the compressor rises. |
