PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and firmly support an EGR cooler with small installation space. SOLUTION: An EGR cooler 10 is arranged halfway of an exhaust gas re- circulating passage connecting an exhaust/intake pipe 5, 4. The EGR cooler 10 is arranged adjacent to a rear end of an engine body 1, the EGR cooler 10 is connected partly to the engine body 1 and supported by a single mounting stay 20 connected partly to the intake pipe 4. The mounting strength of the EGR cooler 10 with heavy weight is heightened by connecting to the engine body 1 and the intake pipe 4, and the difference in vibration between the EGR cooler 10 and the intake pipe 4 is eliminated, to prevent generation of cracks in a connection part or the like between the EGR pipe and the intake pipe 4.
