PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent environmental pollution during cleaning by covering cleaning equipment with an expandable cylinder fixed to expandable rods. SOLUTION: An apparatus is installed right under an air conditioner fitted to a ceiling, and rods 3a-3d are lifted to make an elastic body 7 contact a ceiling. Next, an opening 5 is opened, a stepladder is put into a cylinder, an operator stands on the stepladder, and an air conditioner attachments are taken out. Next, an air conditioner cleaning robot is introduced from the opening 5 and fitted to the air conditioner. Cleaning is done with water received by a bag or a case. After cleaning, it is allowed to stand until the next day. In this way, most bacteria in the cylinder are dropped into a dish 10 and killed. A solid or liquid disinfectant is placed in the dish 10 in advance. The disinfectant can be sprayed into the cylinder. In this way, the scattering of bacteria and others can be prevented.
