PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone type vertical vacuum cleaner capable of improving dust collecting performance. SOLUTION: This cleaner is provided with a cleaner main body part 2 where a fan motor 4 provided with an intake port and a discharge port 4c for generating intake air and the cyclone 21 of an inverse conical shape are disposed inside, a nozzle part 3 provided with a suction port 3b freely turnably arranged at the lower part of the cleaner main body part 2 and opened facing a floor surface, a first suction passage A1 for communicating the suction port 3b and the cyclone 21, a second suction passage A2 for communicating the cyclone 21 and the intake port and a circulating flow passage A3 for guiding a discharge flow from the discharge port 4c to the suction port 3b.
