PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partitioning apparatus which is equipped with heat insulating properties, sound insulating properties, and a humidity conditioning function by using plates which are for use in the partitioning apparatus and the like fitted to a wooden building and eliminates formation of gaps therebeween when arranged, through which air flows in and out. SOLUTION: A partitioning apparatus is constructed by vertically erecting supports 6, 6,... at predetermined intervals, and securely arranging horizontal reinforcing members 7, 7 on a floor and a ceiling. Further, the front ends of the members 7, 7 are linked to the supports 6 via linking hardware, and plates 1, 1,... each having a specific width are piled up between the horizontal reinforcing members 7, 7. In this case, one of butting faces of the plate has a projection 2 at a central portion over the entire length thereof, and has depressions on both the sides of the projection 2 over the entire length. On the other hand, the other surface of the plate has a depression 4 at a central portion, and has projections 5, 5 on both the sides of the depression, to thereby eliminate formation of gaps between the plates 1, 1.
