PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for a curved conveyor belt preventing bending and breakage of an edge bar because repetitive stress in the outer peripheral direction is applied when an inner inclined face of the edge bar is pressed strongly in the outward direction by an upper roller so that the edge bar may be bent and broken in the device for the curved conveyor belt having a curve guide device. SOLUTION: This device for a curved conveyor belt is provided with a fan- shaped conveyor belt 1 which is suspended on guide rolls 12, 12' arranged by crossing shaft cores and is provided with an edge bar 2 continuous along outer peripheral parts 13 thereof and a curve guide device 14 which nips the edge bar 2 from below and above and guides it so that the conveyor belt 1 is fan- shaped. The curve guide device 14 is provided with a frame 5 provided along the outer peripheral part 13 of the conveyor belt 1, a plurality of upper rollers supported by the frame 5 liftably and rotatably, and a plurality of lower rollers which nip the edge bar 2 and are attached below the upper rollers. The shape of a cross section of the edge bar 2 is formed into a trapezoidal shape.
