TREATMENT APPARATUS OF ORGANIC WASTE WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the maintenance of the quality of treated water and the recovery of energy in subjecting org. waste water to aerobic biological treatment while reducing not only the vol. of excessive sludge discharged to the outside of the system but also the use amt. of ozone for reducing the vol. of excessive sludge. SOLUTION: Org. waste water is subjected to aerobic biological treatment in an aeration tank 1 and the treated waste water is subjected to solid-liquid separation treatment in a sedimentation tank 2 to obtain treated water. A part of return sludge is withdrawn as excessive sludge to be treated in an anaerobic digestion tank 3 and an aerobic digestion tank 4 and the digested sludge is separated in a sedimentation tank 5. The separated liquid component of the sedimentation tank 5 is returned to the aeroation tank 1 and conc. sludge is solubilized in an ozone reaction tank 6 and the solubilized sludge is returned to the anaerobic digestion tank 3.
