PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water collecting system which can efficiently collect water from an eaves gutter. SOLUTION: This is a water collecting system to collect rainwater in an eaves gutter 2 into a tank T, the trumpet-like upper end of a short pipe-like shoot joint 1 of which the upper end is trumpet-likely spread is connected to the shoot of the eaves gutter or the horizontal part of a down pipe. The upper end of a connecting pipe 4 is connected to the lower end of the shoot joint 1, and the lower end of the connecting pipe 4 is connected to the tank T.
