PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of reducing the number of parts and the cost, with stable quality. SOLUTION: A groove 18 is formed in the axial direction of a plunger 14 on the outer peripheral surface of a small-diameter part 14b of the plunger 14. Five grooves 18 are formed at intervals of equal angle in the circumferential direction. The bottoms 18a of the respective grooves 18 are formed in the same circular-arc. By both side surfaces 18b in each groove 18, a side ball stopping part 19 is formed on the outer peripheral surface side of the small-diameter part 14b, and by each groove 16, an end ball stopping part 20 is formed on both end parts in the axial direction of the plunger 14. One spherical body 21 is inserted in each groove 18.
