PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously position the fixed position and the rotation direction in a short time by pushing and rotating a work against a front V guide by a finger corner part of a chuck, positioning it in the fixed position, and at the same time sandwiching the both sides of micro rectangular projection by the finger corner part. SOLUTION: The rotation direction of a work 1 is roughly positioned by various means. A V guide 3 advances toward the work 1 and a chuck 7 slides in the closing direction so as to sandwich the both sides of the work 1. Then, a finger corner part 7a pressurizes the left/right 30 deg. of the circular arc of the work 1. The finger corner part 7a of the chuck 7 pushes the work 1 in the direction of the front V guide 3. When the chuck 7 is closed, the finger corner part 7a of the chuck 7 sandwiches a micro rectangular projection to position the rotation direction. Then, simultaneously it pressurizes the work 1 against a V groove 3a of the V guide 3 so as to position it in the fixed position.
