PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can provide a machined pipe product without peeling of a coat of the inner face of the pipe near the end face of the pipe and the roll over of pipe base material and a coat by machining the end face of a multi-layered cylindrical pipe, the inner face of which is coated with at least one kind of material and a different materials. SOLUTION: In this method, a rolled film having abrasion grains is pressed against a work part of a rotating pipe 1 by an elastic back up roller, and the work part is ground by winding the rolled film being swung in the axial direction of the back up roller. In this grinding method, the end face of the pipe 1 is ground until the coat 2a, which adhered to the end face of the pipe 1 and made of material different from the material of the pipe 1, is removed, and then, the corner section of the end face of the pipe 1 on the inner peripheral side is ground for chamfering. |
