PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong durability by providing a wear resisting film formed by polysiloxane-containing material on a thermally reversible recording medium. SOLUTION: The thermally reversible recording medium capable of performing writing operation and erasing operation iteratively through the control of heat application conditions is furnished with a recording layer 12 and wear resisting film 14 on the support body 10. The wear resisting film 14 is composed of material with an excellent wear resisting property (an anti- scratch property) and heat resisting property; however, it is allowed to contain polysiloxane in order to give additional slip properties. For instance, contained therein is an acryl polysiloxane graft polymer having an acryl polymer as a principal chain and polysiloxane of high molecular weight being graft- polymerized thereto. Also, in order to advance its anti-scratch property, an anti-scratch layer consisting of, e.g. UV ray curable resin such as urethane resin is provided between the recording layer 12 and the polysiloxane-containing film being the wear resisting film 14 as high rigid resin. |
