PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in a shell culvert draining construction method capable of easily connected or disconnected to the rear part of the bullet body of a culvert drilling machine, even in any corrugated pipe having spiral or independent ring-shaped ridges and grooves, and capable of embedding in the ground without recklessly disconnected. SOLUTION: This connector comprises a locking piece 3 locked to the hook part at the rear part of the bullet body of a culvert drilling machine, an outer cylindrical body 1 with a flange part 4 having a pair of or two pairs of cutoff parts, and an inner cylindrical body 8 both with engaging projections 9 corresponding to the cutoff parts and with a locking part 10 corresponding to the external form of a corrugated pipe. Then, the connector is made to be engaged by turning the outer circumferential body 1 and/or the inner cylindrical body 8 in the circumferential direction.
