PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor bolt for column base which is capable of reduc ing the degree of breakage of a building, etc. by allowing the energy of an earthquake etc. to be absorbed and whose yield point is >=450 N/mm2, and a column base structure and a column base execution method using the anchor bolt. SOLUTION: By using an anchor bolt for column base having the mechanical properties that the yield point is >=450 N/mm2, and the yield ratio is <=0.7, the increase of the yield ratio can be suppressed, and the yield point can be remarkably increased as compared with a conventional anchor bolt, and a portion other than a threaded portion can be allowed to reach its yield point before the threaded portion is broken even with the anchor bolt whose yield point is >=450 N/mm2. Thus, the portion other than the threaded portion of the anchor bolt for column base can be elongated in a plastic deformation region before the threaded portion is broken, and can effectively absorb the energy of on earthquake, etc. and reduce the degree of the breakage of a building, etc.
