PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea making treatment apparatus in which weight measurement which has been required hitherto is made unnecessary to simplify measurement of water content and speed up of tea-making treatment is realized. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a collecting means (sampling mechanism 9) for tea leaf (raw leaf or treated leaf 2) halfway during treatment, a housing means (measuring vessel 11), a water content-measuring means (water content measuring device 7), or the like. In the apparatus, a part of tea leaf before treatment or halfway during treatment is collected and housed in the housing means and high-frequency is transmitted to a microstrip line on which tea leaf faces in the housing means. Thereby, water content of the tea leaf 2 is measured from attenuation of the high-frequency.
